About Brian Sims: I'm currently a graduate student at Stanford University, where I am pursuing a Master's degree in both American History and Social Sciences in Education. So far my studies here have included an intense three term historiographical survey of American history, as well as courses in the history, economics, and reforms of education.
This web page is part of a project I'm doing for a class entitled "Introduction to Curriculum Innovation," in which students work with companies outside of academia to experience alternative means of curriculum development. For my project, I chose to work with Tapped-In, an on-line teacher's resource web site affiliated with the Stanford Research Institute (SRI).
Before coming to Stanford last fall, I taught 8th grade U.S. History and 12th grade American History (regular and Advanced Placement) for three years at the Episcopal School of Acadiana in southwestern Louisiana. When I finish with graduate school next June I hope to return to the classroom and resume my pursuits in the noble profession of teaching.
Until then, please feel free to email me with any comments, suggestions, or questions you may have about "The Vietnam War: past and present."
Enjoy the page, and good luck!
