The
Modern Presidency
an
analytical study of a high school Internet/cable tv project
presented
by Ms. Tish Raff, Discovery Channel
subject
area mentor
and
Mr.
Michael Hutchison

studies teacher, Lincoln High School,
Vincennes,
Indiana
The
project took place during October and November, 1997 at Lincoln High School,
with approximately 25 freshmen and 40 seniors participating. Freshman
students constructed web pages of presidents featured in Discovery Channel
programming, while the seniors created Power Point presentation.
This
project was a prize winner in the Compaq Teacher Plan Contest, held
in March, 1998.
This
web page is constructed as an addition to a TAPPED IN "After School Online"
session held on July 14, 1998.
